Columbia University’s Faculty Residence and The School at Columbia.

To accommodate the growing need for faculty residences, the University constructed a mixed-use, twelve-story building on the southeast corner of 110th Street and Broadway. Along with street-level retail spaces, the building houses faculty residences above six floors dedicated to The School at Columbia University.

The K–8 school opened its doors in September 2003 to help fulfill the University’s commitment to provide schooling and educational opportunities for children of Columbia affiliates and families from the local community. Approximately fifty percent of the student body is drawn from New York City’s Community School Districts 3 and 5, a significant number of whom receive full or partial scholarships.
